CSCI 5105 Announcements
5/17/10: The final letter grades for the class have been submitted to the registrar. They should be available online within 24 hours to the students.
5/13/10: The grades for the final exam have been put up on Grit. The mean is 84 and the median is 87.5.
5/10/10: The final exam
has been released. It is due on Tue, May 11 at 4pm.
The graded exams and HW3 will be handed back on Thu, May 13 from 3-5pm in the instructor's office (CS 4-209). Also, any clarifications on the final will be posted here until the end of the exam time, so please check back occassionally for any updates.
4/28/10: The final exam will be take-home and will be released on Mon, May 10. Here is a sample final exam.
4/19/10: Homework 3 has been posted. It is due on 04/26/2010
4/5/10: Programming Assignment 3 has been posted. It is due on 04/20/2010
3/29/10: Homework 2 has been posted. It is due on 04/05/2010
3/8/10: Programming Assignment 2 has been posted. It is due on 3/30/2010
3/3/10: Reminder: The Mid-Term exam is in-class on Mon, 3/8/10. Here is a sample mid-term exam.
2/15/10: Programming Assignment 1 has been posted. It is due on 3/2/2010
2/8/10: Homework 1 has been posted. It is due on 2/15/2010
2/2/10: Tentative dates for the assignments and mid-term exam have been put up on the schedule page. Some of these are subject to change if needed as the semester progresses.
1/27/10: TA office hours have been posted on the Information page.
1/25/10: A tentative schedule for the class has been added. All lecture notes, weekly readings, and assignment/exam dates will be posted on the schedule page.
1/20/10: Several links have been added - please check the
left hand side. In particular, the Course Work link provides details
about the course work expected, the grading criteria, and other
policies for the class. You can use the Class Forum link on the left
to post comments/questions about the course and carry out
discussions.
Homework 0 has been
released. This homework will not be graded - but you are strongly
advised to solve it to get an idea of the background needed for
the class. If you have difficulty solving it or are unfamiliar with
any of the concepts, you must talk to the instructor ASAP.
